As in the First World War the majority of awards issued to foreign nationals were issued un-named

similarly to the DSC

Military General Service Medal 1793-1814 Category_Long & Meritorious Service Instituted 26th September 1939 andAuthorised for award to survivors in 1848, this medal has 29 different clasps awarded with it and, unlike its Naval counterpart, is quite common with multiple clasps. It could not be awarded without a clasp. This exmaple is die struck in the manner of the original and is superb in every detail. The clasps were constructed on carriages holding one, two or three clasps and ours is produced the same way to order. Please allow two weeks for assembly of
