this was a standard piece of the field uniform worn from the 1970's up until the introduction of camouflage in the 1990's

Main reason for being in this grade is a small 1mm scuff hole on the front (see photo)

Small mark on the one sleeve but should wash out with care

It's likely the closest the British army have to a "field grey" colour

This part is likely more for ceremonial use than active duty but given the wear it is possible it was used for both
