Much more subtle but not invisible wood can be found on the cooler and more layered aromas of red berries, warm earth and pretty floral whiffs. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the stony and muscular large bodied flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere and robust finale that flirts with rusticity. Good potential here but patience definitely advised.
