Known for its smoky whiskies, Bowmore, with a peat content of around 35 ppm in the malt, is one of the milder expressions from the island. Besides its bottlings, the distillery is famous for Vault No. 1 the only warehouse in Scotland located below sea level. Bowmore 12 Year Old matured in a combination from former bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. Bottled with a
