2024, Chenas Chassignol La Mollepierre The vineyard is family-owned andChassignol is Thillardons best cuve from a steep east facing plot of over 100 year old Gamay vines growing on granite and quartz dominated soil high above the estate. After 25 days of maceration, the wine is fermented spontaneously with whole bunches, and matured 4060% in used barrels and the rest in cement. The result is a finesse, mineral and refined Chnas with a persistent acidity profile and sits deep in the terroir expression
